For over 30 years I have devoted my life into providing financial advice to clients in U.S.
I began my career at Annuity product section with Sam-Sung Insurance Co., Seoul, Korea, 1982.
Two years later, I moved to New York to attend The College of Insurance MBA program with my family.
I joined this organization in 1987 right after school and since then, as an Equitable Advisors, LLC financial professional and active member of Korean-American community, I am dedicated to helping individuals and businesses build their financial futures.
To stay on top of my field and develop my professional skills over a 34 year career, I've regularly attended industry training and certification programs. This includes completing the curriculum and passing the rigorous exams for:
* CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
* Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designation through American College
* Retirement Planning Specialist
* FINRA registration: Series 6, Series 7 and Series 65
I also hold life and health insurance licenses in various states. I am currently serving as a director of Korean-American Lions Club and Korean-American Insurance and Finance Association.
My academic achievement include: BA from Pusan National University, Korea and MBA from The College of Insurance which was merged with St.Johns University in New York.
CFP® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ are certification marks owned by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully complete the CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification requirements. Retirement Planning Specialist title awarded by Equitable Advisors, based upon receipt of a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
